Preparación paso a paso:
1. Tamizamos as fariñas.

Whoke wheat bread
I love making bread! And I thought I was crazy about cooking sweet treats, but every time I make bread, I feel so proud about the result that I just wait and wait until it’s cold, and then I eat it right away! I keep on trying new ways of preparing it until I get the perfect recipe. This time, I tried a whole wheat version and it’s very tasty. Let’s go!
Ingredients:
– 250 gr whole wheat flour
– 250 gr hard wheat flour
– 5 gr instant yeast (baker’s yeast)*
– 200 ml water
– 100 ml milk
– 2 tsp salt
*Vahiné sachets are of 4,6 grams each, so 1 sachet will be perfect
Step by step preparation:
1. Sift the flours. When sifting the whole wheat one, keep 1 tablespoon of the bran for later.
2. Mix the flours and the rest of the ingredients and knead until the dough is humid but non-sticky.
3. Put the dough over a bowl, cover it with a warm cloth and let it rise for around one hour.
4. Give form to the dough, sprinkle the brand we have kept and let it rise again for one hour and a half. When the dough is almost ready, pre-heat the oven at 220°C/425ºF and put a mould with some water at the bottom of the oven, for it to be more humid.
5. Bake for 40 minutes with heat all around, and then 10 minutes more with heat only at the bottom. And that’s it!
This bread will be even more perfect if you toast it a little bit, and then spread some butter and jam over it. I’m sure you will repeat 😉 And there’s nothing better than a homemade healthy bread! And if you try and prepare it, send your pics to kukinhas@kukinhas.com or facebook and twitter.
