4. Formamos un boliño.

IMG_1685

IMG_1688

7. Con estes ingredientes, a masa pesa uns 800 gramos. Colleremos a metade – 400 – e coa axuda dun rolo de amasar e dúas láminas de papel vexetal, estirarémola.

IMG_1689

IMG_1690

Ingredientes para a pizza:

– tomate natural triturado
– 2 boliñas de mozzarella fresca
– queixo Arzúa-Ulloa
– rixóns
– pemento vermello
– cebola
– olivas negras

Preparación da pizza:

1. Esparexemos o tomate natural pola base da pizza.

IMG_1692

IMG_1693

3. Co queixo Arzúa-Ulloa , como é tan cremosiño, faremos unhas pequenas boliñas e repartirémolas pola pizza. E tamén botaremos os rixóns.

IMG_1694

4. Engadimos as olivas, o pemento vermello cortado e a cebola.

IMG_1695

*Acabada de saír do forno 🙂

Pizza caseira

(* For those who read both the Galician and the English version will surely notice the difference between both titles, but if I had to describe the ingredients in the English version, I will come up with the longest post title ever! 🙂 So, I decided to put it this way and explain it later!)

If you follow me on Twitter or Facebook, you already know that my Xmas gift was this beautiful cooking machine

And as I want to use it right away, I thought about preparing this home-made pizza! It’s very easy to do and you’ll love the result. Let’s go!

Dough ingredients:

IMG_1680

– 60 gr olive oil
– 450 gr plain flour
– 20 gr fresh yeast
– 1 teaspoon sugar
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1 cup (200 ml) tepid water
– 1/2 teaspoon thyme

Step by step preparation:

1. In a bowl, add the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, salt and thyme. Mix well. (We will start with 400 grams flour)

IMG_1681

2. Dissolve the fresh yeast in the cup of water and add it to the dry mixture.

IMG_1682

3. Knead until well combined, add the oil and kead again.

IMG_1684

If the dough is too sticky, add the other 50 grams of flour.

4. Form a ball of dough.

IMG_1685

5. Now we have to let it grow. Put it in a bowl with a cloth around it (add some flower). Heat the oven for a while at a low temperature and place the dough inside. Let it grow for about 2 hours.

IMG_1686

6. After two hours…the dough is ready!

IMG_1688

7. With these ingredients, the dough weighs around 800 grams. Take half of it – 400 – and with a rolling pin, start rolling the dough between two baking sheets.

IMG_1689

8. When you get the desired thickness, add the toppings.

IMG_1690

Pizza toppings:

– natural tomato sauce
– fresh mozzarella
– cheese
– rixóns (pressed cracklings)
IMG_1702

– red pepper
– onion
– black olives

Pizza preparation:

1. Spread the tomato sauce over the pizza base.

IMG_1692

2. Add the mozzarella.

IMG_1693

3. As this cheese is so creamy, form little balls and place it all over the pizza. Add the pressed cracklings too.

IMG_1694

4. Add the olices, red pepper and onion.

IMG_1695

5. Put it in the oven for 25 minutes at 200ºC/400ºF or until the basis golden brown. And that’s it!

*The way it looks as taken out of the oven 🙂
