As cantidades e as medidas son da vella escola, nin gramos nin nada, vasos e culleradas. E que bos están os biscoitos así!!!
Ingredientes:
– 3 ovos
– 1 vaso de azucre
– 4 culleradas de iogur
– 1 vaso de fariña
– 1 sobre de fermento químico
– o zume dunha laranxa
– a reladura dunha laranxa
– 1/2 vaso de aceite de xirasol
Preparación paso a paso:
2. Engadimos o azucre e batemos.
3. Engadimos as xemas e o iogur e seguimos a bater.
4. Mesturamos a fariña e o fermento, xirgamos e engadimos.
6. Untamos o molde con manteiga e vertemos a masa.
7. Enfornamos a 180 graos co ventilador durante uns 35 minutos. Despois, apagamos o forno e deixamos o biscoito dentro durante 8 minutos máis. E listo!
O sabor a laranxa é moi intenso e moi doce e a súa textura é húmida e suave. Bo proveito!

Orange sponge cake
You come home from work, leave all your stuff wherever you find a spot and when you’re approaching the kitchen, a sweet and lovely orange smell wakes up all your sweet senses. And the best thing is that you’re not going to prepare it this time, just eat and enjoy! And if all this happens in a day in which you have not been at your best, it gets even better! What a sweet pleasure! After the first bite along came my first thought: I have to put this recipe up on the blog. And here it is! Measurements are old school, just cups and tablespoons, but the best cakes are like this, aren’t they? Let’s go dears!
Ingredients:
– 3 eggs
– 1 cup sugar
– 4 tbsp plain yoghurt
– 1 cup flour
– 1 sachet baking powder
– 1 orange juice
– 1 orange zest
– 1/2 cup sunflower oil
Step by step preparation:
1. Separate whites from yolks and beat the whites until they form stiff peaks.
2. Add sugar and beat some more.
3. Mix in yolks and yoghurt.
4. Sift flour and mix it in.
5. And last, orange juice, zest and oil. Whisk until all integrated.
6. Spread butter on baking mould and pour the batter.
7. Bake at 180ºC/375ºF with fan on for arounf 35 minutes. Then, turn the oven off and let the cake cook inside for around 8 minutes more. And that’s it!
As it is a very spongy cake, let it cool completely before removing it from the mould if you want it to look perfect! The flavour is sweet and intense, and its texture wet and smooth. I completely fell for it and I’m sure that as soon as you try it, you will be doing it once and again. I did it twice in…a week? 😀 You can keep it for days out of the kitchen and it will be soft as the first, I even think it gets better along the days. If I were you, I wouldn’t lose a minute! Enjoy!!!
