Ingredientes:
– 1 ovo grandiño
– 125 ml de auga
– 150 gramos de fariña
– 1 culleradiña de fermento químico
– 1/2 cebola pequena picada
– 1 allo picado
– follas de perixel picado
– 1 culleradiña de sal
– 185 gramos de bacallau esmigallado e sen espiñas
– colorante alimentario (opcional)
Preparación paso a paso:
1. Mesturamos tódolos ingredientes agás o bacallau.
2. Engadimos o bacallau e mesturamos de novo.
3. Deixamos repousar a masa durante uns 15 minutos.
4. Imos fritindo chulas botando anacos de masa coa culler e dándolle a volta cando vexamos que as chulas collen unha cor dourada. E listo!

Cod fritters
I bought some fresh cod yesterday and the fillet was so big that I knew I had to think about some recipe to use this extra cod. The best thing about these cod fritters is that there is no need of cooking the cod before making the fritters, and so we won’t need much time to prepare them. In any case, if you have some extra boiled or fried cod, you can use it to prepare these fritters as well. Let’s go!
Ingredients:
– 1 big egg
– 125 ml water
– 150 gr flour
– 1 tsp baking powder
– 1/2 finely chopped small onion
– 1 finely chopped garlic
– some chopped parsley leaves
– 1 tsp salt
– 185 gr cod, without bones and broken apart
Step by step preparation:
1. Mix all ingredients except the cod.
2. Add the cod and mix all until well integrated.
3. Let the dough settle for around 15 minutes.
4. With a spoon, add some dough and fry the fritters in hot oil until golden brown on both sides. And that’s it!
As you can see, the step by step is veeery easy! And apart from being delicious, this recipe is a perfect one when we have some fish leftovers and we don’t know what to do with them. And if you eat them with some chips, this will be a perfect dish 😉
