Xa tardaba outra receita de biscoitos, non si? Este biscoito de lima limón xa o fixera na casa noutra ocasión, mais por cousas que pasan, acabei abrindo a porta do forno cando non tocaba, e o biscoito acabou afundido polo medio e non tiña moi boa pinta, a verdade. Iso si, o sabor era espectacular! Así que estaba claro que tocaba repetir! Gústame moito a textura que lle dan os iogures aos biscoitos e así podemos experimentar con diferentes sabores. E coa desculpa de mercar limas para facer o guacamole, agora case sempre anda algunha pola casa, así que xa estaba todo case feito. Imos aló!

Ingredientes:

– 3 ovos
– 1 vaso de azucre
– 1 vaso de fariña
– 1/2 vaso de aceite de xirasol
– 1 sobre de fermento
– 1 iogur de limón
– zume de 1/2 lima
– reladura de 1/2 lima

Preparación paso a paso:

1. Batemos as claras de ovo a punto de neve.

2. Engadimos o as xemas, o iogur, o azucre e o zume de lima. Batemos de novo.

3. E, por último, mesturamos a reladura, o fermento, a fariña e o aceite de xirasol.

4. Vertemos a mestura no molde

e enfornamos co ventilador posto a 175ºC durante uns 30 minutos (máis 7 minutos máis co forno xa apagado). Para asegurarnos, sempre podemos facer o truco do escarvadentes, se sae seco é que está no seu punto. E listo!

Se queredes que as vosas mañás (tardes, mediodías, sobremesas…) sexan moooito máis saborosas, non deixedes de probar este biscoito! Ten unha textura incrible, un sabor a lima limón excepcional e o mellor de todo é que se fai nun plis! Sabedes que? Que vou coller outro anaquiño, que me entrou antollo 😉

Lime & lemon sponge cake

I don’t know you, but I’ve been so looking forward to having another sponge cake recipe here on the blog!!! The thing is I’ve already made this one before to show it to you, but sometimes things happen and I ended up opening the oven at the worst moment and the cake started to fall down until it got a huge crack in the middle. It wasn’t the most beautiful cake in the world, but it was suuuper delicious, so I knew I had to do it again, and here it is! I love the texture and the flavour yogurt gives to cakes, and this is specially spongy and fluffy, you’ll see! Let’s go!

Ingredients:

– 3 eggs
– 1 cup sugar
– 1 cup flour
– 1/2 cup sunflower oil
– 1 sachet baking powder
– 1 lemon yogurt
– 1/2 lime juice
– 1/2 grated lime

Step by step preparation:

1. Whisk egg whites until they form stiff peaks.

2. Whisk in yolks, yogurt, sugar and lime juice.

3. And last, add in the grated lime, baking powder, flour and sunflower oil.

4. Pour the mixture over the mould

and bake with the fan on at 175ºC for around 30 minutes (and 7 minutes more with the oven off). If in doubt, remember the toothpick trick, if it comes out clean, it’s ready. And that’s it!

If you want your mornings (afternoons, noon, desserts…) to be even better, try this sponge cake and you’ll get one of the most delicious cakes ever! So fluffy, spongy and lemon-y! You know what? I’m gonna take a piece of it, I’m feeling hungry again 😉
