Rolled oats burgers
After making the rolled oats meatless meatballs, I though that making burgers will be as easy and tasty, and in fact it is! These burgers are smooth, nutritious, healthy and delicious. The step by step is similar to that of meatballs, but we given them burger form and fry them in a pan. Let’s go!
Ingredients for 4 burgers:
– 250 gr rolled oats
– 5 shallots or 1 little onion
– species of your choice, curry and salt
– boiling water
Rolled oats burgers step by step:
1. In a bowl, put the rolled oats together with the spices and salt and add boiling water to it, smashing the oats with a fork until you get an easy-to-manipulate dough. (If it becomes too liquid, you can always add flour).
2. Add the finely chopped shallots and some curry.
3. Spread your hands with oil and form 4 burgers, giving them round flat shape with your hands. Don’t worry, it’s easy to work with this dough.
4. Fry them at a medium-low temperature until both sides are golden brown. And that’s it!
I put them over some natural tomate sauce and some powdered parmesan cheese. And, of course, with the homemade burger buns! These quick, simple, tasty recipes are my favourites, and if they’re healthy, even better! You can add some smooth cheese, such as Bama cheese (big fan!), cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion…everything will be perfect for this burger! Waiting for your pics! 😛
