Boliños preñados caseiros / Home-made chorizo rolls

Boliños preñados caseiros

image

Preparación paso a paso:

1. Mesturamos tódolos ingredientes e amasamos. A masa queda húmida, pero non pegañenta. E resulta moi sinxela de amasar.

image

image

5. Poñemos os chourizos sobre a masa.

image

6. Cerramos a masa cara adentro, estirando as beiras cara arriba, cerrando o boliño. Dámoslle a volta e formamos unha bola coas mans.

image

image

image

7. Deixamos repousar a masa durante outra media horiña.

image

8. Metemos os boliños no forno e baixamos a temperatura a 200°C.

Home-made chorizo rolls

image

When I prepared chorizo rolls in this recipe, I did it because I had the bread prepared and some chorizos at home. But as I love chorizo rolls, I decided to dedicate a whole recipe to them! 🙂 Being the first time I prepare them, I must admit I’m really happy with the result! And I must confess that after a couple of hours, out of 8, there was only 3 chorizo rolls left, so…take some paper, a pen, write the ingredients and get ready to prepare and taste these amazingly delicious chorizo rolls!

Ingredients:

image

– 500 gr hard wheat flour
– 3 gr instant yeast* (baker’s yeast) / 10 gr fresh yeast
– 200 ml water
– 100 ml milk
– 2 teaspoons salt
– chorizos (I used some little ones)

*I bought the Vahine one

Step by step preparation:

1. Mix all the ingredients well and knead. The dough will be humid, but not sticky. It’s easy to knead.

image

2. Put the dough in a bowl covered by a cloth and let it leaven for half an hour (if you’re in a hurry) or an hour.

image

3. The dough weighs c. 800 grams, so form 8 little balls of 100 grams each.

image

image

4. With your fingers, smash each ball until it looks like a thick pancake.

image

5. Put the chorizos over them.

image

6. Close the dough, putting the sides on top, turn the balls over and give them form with your hands.

image

image

7. Let it leaven for another 1/2 an hour. Meanwhile, preheat the oven at 220°C/425°F and put a bowl of water in the lowest part of the oven. Thus, the oven will be humid and the chorizo rolls will be incredible!

image

8. Bake the rolls and set the oven at a temperature of 200ºC/400°F. I baked 4 because I thought they were going to grow too much, but I think you can bake the 8 at a time. They’ll be ready when slightly brown on top, around 20 minutes. Allow to cool over a wire rack.

And that’s it!!! As you see, it is easy, no need of complicated ingredients and you’ll love the result. I’m sure that if you prepare them, you’ll repeat right away! I’m already thinking about next time…
