Amantes e adictos ao chocolate, estades preparados? Hoxe tráiovos unha receita especial para vos, así que se é o teu caso, non dubides en facer esta torta! O ‘Knave of Hearts’ non se puido resistir e roubounas, e vos? Ademáis, leva un ingrediente sorpresa para que quede super esponxosa!

Como xa veriades, encántame empregar produtos de tempada para as miñas receitas, e sobre todo tendo a posibilidade de ter esta fermosura de prantas

que non vos podedes imaxinar que ben se dan na terriña. E cando hai tantas cabaciñas, un ten que discurrir a ver cantas receitas se poden facer con eles! Rebuscando pola rede, vin que se podían empregar para facer que os biscoitos, tortas e pasteis quedasen cunha textura máis húmida e esponxosa, así que pensei: alá imos! Hai que probar!
Non vos preocupedes se non vos gusta o sabor do cabaciño, porque non se nota nin que o leva, e a torta quedaravos moi esponxosa. Ademáis, podedes aproveitar para xogar coa familia ou os amigos a ver quen é quen de adiviñar o ingrediente segredo! Probamos?

O que precisamos…

– 240 gramos de fariña
– 60 gramos de cacao
– Un chisco de sal
– Un sobre de fermento (16 gramos)
– 150 gramos de azucre
– 3 ovos grandes ou 4 pequenos
– 60 ml. de aceite de xirasol
– Esencia de vainilla
– 350 gramos de cabaciño pelado e relado
– 140 gramos de chocolate puro 70% en anaquiños (chips)

A receita que fixen ten un sabor moi intenso a chocolate, se non vos gusta o sabor do cacao ou do chocolate moi puro, podedes empregar chips de chocolate branco ou de chocolate con leite, ou aumentar a cantidade de azucre.

Utensilios: batedora, un bol, un molde para forno e unha culler.
Tempo de preparación: uns 10 minutos
Tempo de forno: arredor de 45 minutos
Dificultade: moi sinxelo

Preparación paso a paso:

1.Por un lado, mesturamos os ingredientes secos. A fariña, o cacao e o fermento pasámolos polo coador antes, para que non quedes gromos. Engadimos o sal e o azucre e coa axuda do batedor integrámolo todo ben.

2.Por outra banda, batemos os ingredientes líquidos: os ovos, a vainilla e o aceite de xirasol, ata que quede ben mesturado.

3.Xuntamos ámbalas dúas mesturas ata que teñamos unha masa esponxosa. Non vos preocupedes se vedes que queda demasiado espesa, en canto lle poñades o cabaciño, a textura volverase máis líquida.

4.Engadimos o cabaciño pelado e relado e o chocolate cortado en anacos á masa anterior, e cuncha culler repartimos todos ben.

5.Preparámos o molde, vertemos a masa e metémola no forno. Deixarémola durante aproximadamente 45 minutos a 180ºC. Se insertamos un escarvadentes na torta deberá sair limpo.

6.Sacámola do forno e deixámola arrefriar. Desmoldámola e listo!

Chocolate lovers and Chocoholics, are you ready? This recipe has been especially made for you all! So if you’re one of them, prepare this recipe right away! The Knave of Hearts couldn’t resist it, could you? And this is not all, it also has a secret ingredient that makes it extremely smooth and fluffy!

As you can see, I love using seasonal products, especially when you have the possibility of having these beautiful plants

that give a lot of zucchinis here in Galiza. And when you have lots of them, you have to think about different recipes to use them. I have read that they make cakes more fluffy, so I thought: I have to try it!
Don’t worry if you don’t like the flavour of the zucchini (or courgette) because you cannot even notice it. And you can play with your family and friends to see if the can guess the secret ingredient! Let’s do it!

What do we need?

– 240 g plain flour
– 60 g cocoa powder
– a pinch of salt
– 16 g baking powder
– 150 g caster sugar
– 3 / 4 eggs (3 large or 4 regular)
– 60 ml. sunflower oil
– a teaspoon of vanilla essence
– 350 g peeled and grated zucchini / courgette
– 140 g chopped pure chocolate (70%) (or chips)

This recipe I made has a very intense chocolate flavour. If you don’t like it so much, you can use white or milk chocolate chips, or even add some more sugar.

Utensils: whisk, bowl, mould and a spoon.
Preparation time: c. 10 minutes
Baking time: around 45 minutes
Difficulty: very easy

Step by step preparation:

1. Sift the flour, the cocoa and the baking powder and mix all this dry ingredients together with the sugar and the salt.

2. Beat the wet ingredients: the eggs, the vanilla and the oil until well combined.

3. Put both mixtures together and beat until smooth. Don’t worry if it is too thick, the courgettes will give add liquid to it.

4. Add the peeled and grated zucchini and the chopped chocolate.

5. Prepare the mould and pour the batter in it. Put it in the oven for about 45 minutes, 180ºC. (350º F) A toothpick inserted in the center should come out clean.

6. Take it out of the oven, let it cool and that’s it! kukitip: you can decorate it with powdered sugar, jam or nuts. IMG_1429
